News News 05.11.2024 Our HR team recently took full advantage of one of our many brilliant benefits and spent the day supporting a homelessness charity in Sheffield. The Archer Project has been supporting individuals for over 30 years with things they need right now, such as warm clothing and food supplies but also with longer-term support such as housing and health. The team spent hours sorting through bags and boxes of food, clothing and care donations from local groups as part of The Project’s ‘Harvest Appeal’ as they prepare for the harsh winter period. Huge thanks to all at The Archer Project !! MORE NEWS LATEST NEWS

Team Assurance Goes Volunteering!!

2024-10-03T13:50:32+00:0003/10/2024|

News News 03.10.24 Did you know that one of the benefits of working at Ancala Water Services is having the opportunity to take two paid days per year for helping charitable causes? Our Assurance Team did just that, recently getting their hands dirty by helping tidy a council run public space at Cannon Hall Museum Gardens close to our Redbrook office. They rely heavily on volunteers to keep the space looking good and useable for visitors. This is a key outside green space for the local community, so the team wanted to use their volunteer days as a whole team together in the local environment. The team were met by many local people who stopped to talk, and they thought it was a great benefit that AWS give all employees two days a year to volunteer. The team were able to get out of the office and spend time together as a team in the fresh air, strengthening connections, as well as their muscles! Paid volunteering is just one of the many employee benefits on offer at Ancala Water Services. Find out more about our wider benefit package by checking out our website by clicking here. We have a number of live vacancies currently and would love you [...]

Two members of our Operations & Maintenance Team, Jason Sweet and Tristan Hird, represented Ancala Water Services at an open day event, where they shared the positive initiatives we are undertaking to protect the environment. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we provided drinking water for the event in a recyclable cardboard box and served it in compostable cups to minimise waste. This event was a great success, offering an excellent opportunity to share our environmental achievements and highlight the work we do.  Jason and Tristan had the chance to connect with onsite stakeholders and contacts, making it a productive day. Great job Jason and Tristan!! MORE NEWS LATEST NEWS
